The Royal Ballet School's Affiliate Training and Assessment Programme provides a unique method of training which values the process of learning more than the end product.

An example of what students will gain:

* A love and knowledge of the art form as a whole

* Enjoyment of the learning process

* A solid technical foundation in balletic and generic movement skills

* Social confidence through the ability to work autonomously and within a group

* A positive and resilient approach to learning through a growth mindset.

Levelled classes include Repertoire, Creative Practice and Choreography alongside honing performance skills of ballet vocabulary, based on the RBS's Model for Optimal Dance Training.

​

Affiliate Teachers create their own classes, without a set syllabus, in order to meet the learning needs of their students.

Assessments are offered (moderated by the Royal Ballet School) once the required standard of each level has been achieved.
